Bergamot is a citrus found in India.The aroma is fresh and spicy, yet floral and with hints of citrus as well. Bergamot contains the following properties:

  • Analgesic, Anthelmintic, Antibacterial, Antiseptic, Antidepressant, Antispasmodic, Astringent, Carminative, Deodorant, Digestive, Diuretic, Expectorant, Febrifuge, Laxative, Rubefacient, Sedative, Stimulant, Stomachic, Tonic, Vulnerary.

  • Useful for those with: Addictions, Anorexia, Anxiety/Panic, Autism, Blisters, Depression, Mental Fatigue, Herpes, Inflammation, Insect bites, and Insomnia


Bergamot pairs well with many other essential oils, including: chamomile, citrus oils, coriander, cypress, geranium, helichrysum, jasmine, juniper, lavender, neroli, nutmeg, rose, sandalwood, vetiver, violet, and ylang ylang.

Bergamot is generally considered safe, but can result in photo-sensitivity.

Dilution is not required.
